Worship gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship, pray, learn the Scriptures, and observe the Lord’s Supper as the people of God. We meet every Sunday at 445 South Virginia Street at 9am, 11am, and 6pm.
We invite anyone to join us on Sundays. If you have children, we also have a thriving LS Kids ministry that meets during each of our services.
Throughout Scripture God’s people are shaped by their relationship with God and with one another. Scripture calls us to dedicate ourselves to their example (Acts 2:42-47, Heb 10:24-25).
At Living Stones, Community Groups are the primary way that we build relationships each week. These small groups gather throughout the week to pray, encourage one another, study the Bible, and discuss how we can live in further dedication to God and his mission.
Our community groups meet all over Northern Nevada in homes, dorms, coffee shops, pubs, and diners throughout the week.
There are many opportunities to serve each other at Living Stones. Our ministry teams are organized into three main groups and volunteers are encouraged to serve according to their individual gifting and desire:
First Impressions: LS Kids teachers, LS Students leaders, greeters, ushers, community group leaders, Connect Desk informants, and financial stewards
Sunday Operations: Safety Team, service reset, cooking, coffee, service prayer, and preparing the Lord's Supper (Communion)
Arts & Media: camera, lights, art, sound, slides, podcast, and music
We believe that children are a crucial part to God’s mission and want our kids to encounter Jesus and become his disciples. LS Kids is for Ages 0 – Grade 5. We meet Sundays during all our worship gatherings and provide a fun, safe place for kids to learn about Jesus and his transforming love. To learn more about LS Kids, visit the East Family Entrance on a Sunday, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want to see middle and high school students experience their identity and purpose as revealed through the gospel of Jesus Christ. LS Students meets Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm for a time of games, worship, teaching, and discussion in the Gallery of the Reno Church. Questions about LS Students? Visit the Connect Desk on Sunday or email email@example.com.
At Living Stones there are two main avenues in which Soul Care is provided. The first and primary avenue is through Community Groups where one can engage in relationships with other believers and experience the healing and transforming power of the Gospel. The second avenue is through one-on-one meetings with a trained pastor or deacon. Though we are not licensed therapists, we do seek to offer spiritual care that is biblically based, psychologically sensitive and relationally focused.
Soul Care at Living Stones is primarily reserved for Members in good standing, in which a pastor or deacon will meet one-on-one with a person for up to four sessions. For those who are not Members of our church, we offer a one time consultation meeting to provide spiritual direction and encouragement. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
